Pity Party Over...........for now

much better evening! I had a friend invite me to a little getaway and once I decided the hell with it, climbed out of the little hole I dug for myself, and accepted I felt sooo much better! I HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO!! We are going to see Air Supply (which I quarentee will make me cry) but they will be happy tears of memories of the past and a few hours of forgeting where I am and what is happening! Tomorrow looks brighter already!

Glad to hear you have a fantastic invitation to attend this concert. You never know what's around the next corner. Remember you are doing the best you can with what you have to work with. Keep up the positive attitude Shirl! You are doing a great job!

There you go, a little pity party didn't hurt anyone. I didn't get my invite, though. ha ha.
Every now and then, you just need to release the negative....it is nothing to be ashamed of! Been there....remember?
Don't forget to rehydrate today.....to replace what you lost! You are talking to a seasoned professional here! ;)
That is awesome that you have a getaway to look forward to! Don't forget I want to see you in two weeks, too!!!!
Hugs to you!
Love,
Shan

Hi Shirley
Hope things are going somewhat better than the other day. Spent a few hours at school on Thursday and Friday, reorganizing my classroom since they put in new cupboards etc over the break. Good thing I was able to go in or I'd be walking into a real mess on Monday! Still not perfect but can work on it during the week.
Take care
Love ya

I finally signed up so I can leave you a comment. It only took me an hour @#!$%

I know it is hard to excercise. Try walking down the steet a little way each day. It really helps when the sun is shinning, plus the spring birds are singing. I excercise everyday... just a little. I walk down the street and do streches on the floor and excercises for my arm. You can use a can of food to do some weight bearing arm excercises. But PT said weights only every 3 days because of the chemo.

Look how far you have come. You have been through so much and its all behind you now. Your awsome!
Before you know it you will be done with Chemo.

You are a Champion!

Mar 19 - this is our good week!!!
